‘Switch’ onderzoekt en herdefinieert de functies van de stadswoning.
Het huis als leefplek, productieplek, als werkplek, de plek waar onderzoek naar het dagelijks leven met ons zelf, onze gezondheid en welzijn centraal staat.
De woning zal in de loop van de tijd ruimtelijk, bouwkundig en functioneel aangepast worden naar gelang de fase van het project. Vanaf voorjaar 2015 werken we aan het vooronderzoek, de verwachting is in 2016 resultaten hiervan te delen met publiek. Daarna werken we vier seizoenen lang met een multidisciplinair team aan het onderzoek. De resultaten zullen we met regelmaat delen, bespreken, tentoonstellen.

Switch
Switch will research and redefine the functions of a city dwelling.
The house as a place to live, a place to work. It is the place where research into the daily life with ourselves, our health en well-being is the central object of investigation.During the project the apartment will be adapted spatially, architecturally and functionally, according to the phase of the project. From spring 2015 onwards we work on preliminary research. We expect to share the results with the public beginning of 2016. Then we will work a multi-disciplinary team on our researches during four seasons. Intermediate results will be shared regularly in discussions, workshops and exhibitions.
